If you have an area rug with a design that you love but a size that isn't ideal, this can be remedied by having the rug resized to fit perfectly wherever you'd like to place it in your home.
A customer of ours purchased a transitional 8x10 rug for his apartment, but when he relocated to a new home, he found the 8x10 size to be too large, so he contacted us and we were able to flawlessly cut the rug down to a perfect size with a clean, finished edge.

To do this, we work with our customer to determine the best places to make cuts on the rug, keeping the integrity of the rug's design and construction in mind.
Next, the cuts are carefully made and then a new binding is added on each side for a polished look (fringe can be added, as well).

So, be sure to think twice before getting rid of a too-large rug because resizing is an option!
