We look forward to sharing with you a new selection of hand-knotted, 100% wool area rugs, hand-picked in Pakistan. The rugs will arrive in a few weeks, for now, enjoy this photo-journey of the wonders of hand-knotted Oriental rugs in Pakistan.
My most recent buying trip took me to the city of Lahore in Pakistan -- the second largest city in the country -- where I hand-selected a beautiful assortment of handmade rugs, from Chobis to Peshawar, Bokharas to Gabbehs, and some new takes on old designs with fresh color palettes.
I visited with the workers who prepare the wool, the weavers who masterfully - and by hand - transform the wool fibers into rugs, and the people who do the final steps of washing and trimming the rugs to make them ready to decorate your homes.

Very cool! Loved seeing all of the pictures. Never knew how they made rugs but this was a great way to find out and appreciate the time, effort and skill it takes. Can’t wait to see what is to come in your shop!
